The Jolida 1501 BRC amp listed here is their 100 watt hybrid amplifier - not 30 Watts as mentioned in the description. Hybrid means that there is a tube based preamp section followed by a solid state Mosfet power amplifier section. The Jolida 1301 retailing for about $400 is their actual 30 watt model. The tubes used in the preamp section are 12AX7 types.

Actually the 30 watt model sounds better than the higher watt models. As long as your speakers can be driven by fairly low power go for the Jolida 1301. This is an amplifier suited for bedroom or den systems or driving a computer system audio (non-game) set up. The Jolida hybrid amplifier is actually quite good sounding and a great value for the money. They are quite neutral so you will get clean highs but also a fairly firm bass. IMPORTANT: You must change the tubes that come with the unit. For some reason Jolida stocks them with the lousiest sounding tubes from China. There are plenty of low cost replacement tubes that will provide far better sound. You can get 1980s era JAN 12AX7 tubes for about $10 each. GE and a few others were still making these tubes up to the early 80s.
