This console it beautiful! If you are looking for a wood that has a flat, smooth finish, this is not for you. I purchased it to match wood furniture that had intentional little indentations that are perfectly finished and natural. The indentations on this piece of furniture perfectly suits the rest of my furniture. The finish on the furniture is perfection. The cutouts in the back are more than sufficient for my equipment needs. The two drawers are doweled and slide wonderfully. Delivered very well packed with all glass intact. It is heavy so prepare to have some brawny men around to move it if you do not order it with white glove delivery service.
