I just set this system up to a pioneer elite sc-63 put on transformers rise of the fallen through an lg sdr-6150 blue ray player the system was set to dolby PL II movie. I was impressed with the clarity of the center channel for vocals and the towers held there own during the battle scenes. the sub is lacking. alot. very boomy not alot of depth at all great for explosions but thats it. If you buy this system buy another sub to go in place of the included one. with that being said all other components well outdid themselves for the cost. I highly recommend this for a budget system or for a guest room.
