The perfect complement to Klipsch's RB-75 bookshelf and flagship RF-7 floorstanding loudspeakers, the RC-7 center channel speaker provides unsurpassed clarity and neutrality, making it a superior choice for any high-performance home theater system. It utilizes a combination of professional grade materials and advanced horn technology for a smooth response and consistent coverage pattern. The new Reference Series 1.75-inch titanium dome compression driver is coupled to an 8-inch square Tractrix horn and powered by an unusually large, video-shielded 22-ounce magnet.

The two 8-inch Cerametallic woofer cones are lighter, stronger and better damped than commonly used cone materials. Cerametallic is a specially treated aluminum that has been anodized, or electro-chemically transformed into ceramic on both outer surfaces. Similar to the motor of the large compression driver, powerful, video-shielded 28-ounce magnets drive these woofers, allowing for precise signal tracking without blurring the sound.

It features Klipsch's version of 2.5-way crossover technology, called tapered-array. With tapered-array, the two Cerametallic woofers work together to deliver high impact bass with one driver transitioning out at the mid-range frequencies. This provides more consistent coverage across the listening field, less tonal error and improved dialogue intelligibility.

Amplifier connections are via two pairs of binding posts, jumpered together for normal wiring. Removing the jumpers allows the speaker to be bi-wired. It comes with a curved, cloth-covered, stand-off grille. This distinguished "floating grille" creates a physical barrier, protecting the drivers from damage and actually works to minimize sonic reflections.

The lord of the ring was an amazing and easy task for this center channel speaker.Golum was super scary just in his voice and poping eyes on my screen tv.The final battle was so good that i was about to jump off my sit.So why is this????? well maybe because they play loud without any distortion till 200 watts RMS and a maximun of 800 watts.

In music i feel being in heaven.I played AMERICA ( YOU CAN DO MAGIC) and i took right away a beeer out of my frige lol.By the way...before buying this center speaker i heard another ones but nothing can compare to this baby. Just try to look for something with the same specifications and you will see what i am talking about.IS Hard or maybe imposible to get even close to the specifications of the rc-7. They are also very power efficient.I mean at 98db even a week amplifier would take care of this baby...but dont be cheap!!!Give them what they deserve.POWERRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!! Personaly products that i have tested and listen to.....paradigm,audio research,B&W,Totem,monitor audio,Velodyne,DEFINITIVE TECHNOLOGY ONE OF MY FAV0RITE FOR MOVIES LOL.oH AND MIRAGE!!!! bUY IT IF YOU CAN STILL GET ONE ...GOOD LUCK.
