The Krueger Audio Loudspeaker line was designed and inspired by the smooth flowing lines of organic objects, with a fundamental belief that boxes do not effectively produce natural sound. The design is art follows form follows function, and has been issued utility patents from the US patent office(USPTO). Our speakers weigh less than half that of comparable speakers due to the thin wall construction. Our speakers boast the world's most narrow horizontal width for driver size, and a near zero baffle area. Our drivers are bolted to, not screwed into, the enclosure. The advantages to this approach are no front baffle panel resonance, no baffle diffraction, and a completely natural first reflection similar to live sound propagation. The nature of the patented and patent-pending hybrid transmission line avoids high internal pressures, eliminating sound destroying resonances that plague other speakers. Instead of trying to control the resonances and reflections caused by the powerful back wave from the driver, we get out of the way of it. Through ingenious, patented tuning principles, we control driver excursion and dampening in the least destructive and most efficient manner, producing the effect of a transmission line twice the size of our speaker. The result--our speakers can play louder and cleaner than comparable speakers, while weighing less. Our loudspeaker enclosure are constructed of a proprietary composite, primarily Polycarbonate with carbon and stainless steel fiber filler in the precise, injection molded clamshell design. Our enclosures are screwed, glued, and gasketed. Crossover networks feature top grade components like Poly caps, air core inductors, and metal oxide resistors. Our speakers are hand-assembled in the USA.

Saxophone comes out sounding great through these. But unfortunately all other music turns into sax. Drums, violins, pianos... Sometimes trumpets will pass for a trumpet with a nasal sax timbre, but that's as far as these speakers will go as far as accepting other instruments. I listened to 5th Symphony (beethoven, of course), and I've never heard an orchestra of saxophones until now. To be honest, even though sax is my favourite instrument, I kinda miss the sound of other instruments now, I don't even remember what Bjork's annoying voice solos sound like anymore. Maybe it's for the best.

This is the same MegaMount that is used for the Mirage AVS-200 series satellite speakers. Works great for either set and allows for a limited range of movement once mounted.

Be aware that, even though the description may seem otherwise, this a pair of mounting brackets. That's the only way they're sold, to my knowledge. I purchased an original set back in 2000 with my speakers, and I've ordered 2 sets of these from Amazon (warehouse_deals); all sets came with 2 individual mounting brackets inside.

Thanks to Amazon for carrying these brackets, many years after the speakers were discontinued. I've not found them anywhere else.

First, the Amazon descritption of this item is inaccurate. It is a nice walkman, but I suggest you go check the Panasonic web page before you decide. I love the layout, and the sound quality is fine. The downside is there is no beltclip or carrying case (only a cheap black bag goes with it), so you have to either get a carrying case or put it in your pocket (which is feasible, considering its relatively small size)

Well this sub is veryy heavy, in fact heavier then my friends 12in jbl subwoofer..so the quality seems good there. The sub does handle the power well. In a sealed box it sounds how it is supposed to, clean and punchy with tight bass, you could easly have 2 of these and thats wut i wish i did bc it doesnt really shake ur body.(now i did dynamat my trunk so i cant tell u if it would rattle ur car). If you want bass u can feel do 2 of these. If u just want to complete ur system and want a clean sound one of these is more then enough. But dont port it...its not recommended by the specs i shoulda listened bc now it hits sloppier..really lost the tight bass feel.

JVC RX-778VBK Audio/Video Receiver Review

I purchased this reciever in a package along with the Cambridge Soundworks Movie Works II Home Theater Speaker system and i must say that I am pleasantly surprised. Because it came in a set, i assumed that it would be under-powered, and have sub-par sound quality. When i took it home, i was very surprised. It not only exeeded all of my expectations, but i have not come upon a better reciever for the money. DTS? Who needs it? Instead of shelling out all that extra money so that you can play the select few DTS dvd's, buy this little guy and save that extra money for purchasing a Cambridge Soundworks Movie Works II (which i am also extremely satisfied with). This reciever has 110 watts for the front speakers, and 100 everywhere else. Not only that, it also has outputs for TWO SETS of main speakers. I have another set hooked up in my living room which i use for music. I have them shut off for movies so that i may take full advantage of this recievers spectacular dolby digital decoder. It even has TWO optical digital inputs! One slight misfortune- the remote can only control JVC dvd players, which i remedied by purchasing a Sony LCD Touchscreen Remote commander. (sounds as good as it is!) This reciever fits right in with the best of systems-mine.
