The specially built in cabinet amplifier has high level left/right spring terminal inputs and outputs. The 24dB per octave crossover is continuously variable from 25-150Hz. This powered sub also has a built-in auto shut off. If two minutes goes by and sub does not receive a signal it switches to stand-by mode to conserve power. Volume and crossover frequency dials round out the special features on this super powerful subwoofer. The 10 inch long throw bass front firing woofer has a frequency response of 25-150Hz +/- 2dB. The port design smooth's air flowing in and out of the cabinet, reducing turbulence and port noise. OUT OF THE BOX THIS SUB FEELS KIND OF LIGHT WEIGHT, BUT THE CABINET FINISH IS NICE AND THE OVERALL QUALITY LOOKS GOOD. I HOOKED IT UP TO MY OFFICE COMPUTER SYSTEM WHICH ALREADY HAS LARGE ADVENTS AND POWERED BY 205 WRMS PER SIDE FROM A SOUNDCRAFTSMEN POWER AMP AND CONTROL THREE PRE-AMP. I TIED IN THIS SUB AND IT PUTS OUT PRETTY GOOD DEEP BASE. THE ROOM IS 17 X 13 AND THIS LITTLE SUB FILLS IT WITH BOTTOM END THAT WAS LACKING JUST FROM THE LEFT AND RIGHT SPEAKERS; GETS A 5 STAR AND RECOMMENDED FOR ALL BUT THE BIGGEST ROOMS. ARRIVED PERFECT AND AS PROMISED BY AMAZON, ON TIME.
