First let me say that I am not completely sold on the concept of spending gobs of money on super expensive cables. Second, let me say that I have spent gobs of money over the years, on very expensive cables. Maybe I'm an idiot, but it seems logical that the link between your digitally-mastered source material and your excessively engineered processing equipment should be of high quality. I remember upgrading from zip wire to Monster Cables when I was a kid, and the feeling that all those little electrons were having such a great time funneling to my speakers. Whether or not I could actually hear the difference I can't say ...

Ok ok so ever since I discovered Audioquest, their products are all I've used. Never had a failure, a loose connection, a broken component. Just solid performance from a company which makes top of the line stuff. Expensive, yes.

I use this to run from my iPod in the cockpit of my sailboat to the stereo down in the cabin below. A long run, where the better the cable the less you will lose of the signal clarity and strength.
